11.24. Console

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire of "weight" from the accumulator.
2. On cars with a mechanical transmission unscrew the switching handle.
	3. On cars with an automatic transmission disconnect a gearshift frame by means of a screw-driver, and then pull out it.
Back console
4. Remove the central decorative panels (see subsection 11.21).
	5. Remove a covering in the console to get access, and then unscrew bolts.
	6. Pull the back console back, unfasten holders, and then remove the console.
Forward console
	7. Unscrew the bolts fixing the forward console to the dashboard and then lift and disconnect the console from the dashboard.
8. Installation is made in the return sequence.
